This site contains the original artwork of Edward Tryk. There are three collections to visit:
- Watercolor Paintings
- Printmaking
- Word Art
The paintings and prints are for sale.
The subject matter of the Watercolor paintings include: still life, marine, landscapes, boats, lighthouses, and Asian images.
The printmaking explores the media of intaglio (etching, engraving), and woodblock prints. Most of the prints are either mono-prints or small editions. These focus on spiritual symbolism, especially that of Zen Buddhism.
The word art is available at no cost to anyone who is interested. At present the collection contains only poetry: both tradtional poems and poems inspired by the Japanese form, 'haiku'.
Artwork that uses paper as a surface must be protected from the elements. This applies to watercolor paintings and prints. See Displaying Your Watercolor Paintings and Prints for more information.
