Wall Hangings

Wall hangings are my own idiosyncratic artworks that do not fit neatly into traditional categories of art, such as "oil paintings", "watercolors", "prints", and so on. My wall hangings are not very large, intended as wall design that will fit comfortably in smaller areas of a home. Each of these hangings is an original, hand-created piece that carries my "chop" (signature stamp). They are available already mounted or unmounted. Unmounted hangings are mailed in a cardboard tube. Mounted hangings are mailed flat. The price for one of these hangings ranges from $30 to $50, including shipping. It is not too common, now-a-days to find original works of art that one can hang in one's home for less that $50! . All hangings are done on art paper, mounted on decorated paper, and hung on the wall by a cord attached to the corners of the mounting.

To the right is an example of a "scroll-work" wall hanging that is ready to hang. In addition to the scroll that I have adapted from the traditional Japanese calligraphy and sumi-e art, I have made a few hangings that reflect the imagination of the American action paintings of the mid-20th century.
